A revitalized Medvedev won his initial championship for nearly 30 months with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament championship match.

Now working with Johansson and his other coach, he has consistently advanced in the recent weeks - culminating in a hard-fought three-set win over challenger Moutet.
This represents his initial trophy since the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt after spring of that year.
The win also signifies the Russian has won 21 victories at twenty-one different tournaments.

"This championship is in tribute of my younger daughter her name, because the initial championship I achieved when my older daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had been defeated in his last six finals, featuring in that event in the past months.
The player's retrieving play style and recurring outbursts on the tennis court had caused observers to doubt if his ability to perform at the top level was over.
Yet the athlete has made changes in recent weeks, making an effort to approach the net and compete assertively, supported by an better service.
The champion fought back from a break down in the first set against the challenging Frenchman, securing four of the final five points to take the lead.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his first tour championship, gained dominance to create a third set.
The opponent rescued 4 early-game opportunities in a competitive deciding set before the champion secured a break to 15 to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched the win with a shot at the net area, with Moutet incapable to manage a volley after a lengthy match.
